Even as the U.S. economy continues to rebound, auto shoppers continue to put a high emphasis on value—and Honda continues to deliver. In fact, the brand just garnered 11 more third-party value honors from two of the most respected names in the business.

They included six trophies in the recent Best Resale Value Awards, presented annually by Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com website:

  • The all-new Accord earned the Best Resale Value Award in the Mid-Size Car segment.
  • Three individual honors went to the Civic, including Best Resale Value in the Compact Car class, Best Resale Value in the Sporty Compact Car category (thanks to the Civic Si), and a place on the overall top-10 best values roster.
  • Joining the Civic on the industry’s top-10 list was the CR-V
  • The Fit took top resale-value honors among the Subcompacts.

“Honda vehicles are engineered to provide a fun-to-drive experience as well as overall value for the money,” according to Michael Accavitti, vice president of national marketing ops for American Honda. “With a continued focus on quality, fuel-efficiency and premium content, we have always believed that a Honda provides every buyer with added value, and we are honored to be recognized for our efforts by valuation leader Kelley Blue Book.”

In addition, ALG—creators of the original Automotive Leasing Guide—recently honored another trio of Honda products for their standout residual values. The Accord, Fit and Odyssey each won their segments, while Honda captured the grand prize as the Best Mainstream Brand.

“Long-term value and reliability are both hallmarks of the Honda brand, and we are honored to be recognized by ALG as the industry leader in these key qualities,” added Accavitti. “The Honda engineering philosophy not only delivers immediate value to our customers, but will pay off in the long run as well.”
